At it's core - 5 things are needed to have a golf sim

1.  Launch Monitor - The brain of the system that measures your golf ball's flight trajectory
2. Strike mat - Turf to hit golf balls off of
3. Hitting net or Impact Screen - To catch and stop the ball safely, even in small spaces
4. PC/Laptop/Tablet - To run golf simulator software
5. Software - to access virtual practice ranges and play virtual golf courses; Some Launch monitors come with software included, others offer 3rd party software to add-on
